We'll begin with the two beaches that can be accessed directly from Park Hotel San Jorge, two crystal-clear coves that are among the area's best-known beauty spots.
Cala Belladona (Platja d’Aro)
This cove is right in front of the Park Hotel San Jorge and there is direct access from the coastal path. It is a paradíse for nature and snorkelling lovers. It has coarse sand and its crystal-clear blue water makes you want to take a dip.
Cala Cap Roig (Sant Antoni de Calonge)
The Cap Roig islet gives this cove both its name and personality, as well as being one of the most iconic images of the Costa Brava. The beach has coarse sand and a rocky bed, and it is a good option for those that enjoy diving down and discovering the beauty of the seabed too. There is direct access from the hotel.
Platja Gran (Platja d’Aro)
This long, wide beach offers everything you need for a perfect family day by the sea, including toilets, showers, restaurants, lifeguards and more. It is easily accessible, even with a pushchair, and during the summer it offers a children's mini club, a baby club and a variety of family entertainment activities.
Platja de Sant Antoni de Calonge
Stretching for more than 1.5 kilometres, Sant Antoni Beach is one of the best-equipped family beaches on the Costa Brava. Its calm waters and gently sloping shoreline make it an excellent choice for families with young children.
